About Randy Trombly

After a distinguished career as a human resources executive specializing in consulting, recruiting, and organizational development, I’m embarking on a new professional journey in the real estate industry. This transition allows me to apply invaluable expertise in building trust and strong relationships, contract negotiation, strategic problem-solving, understanding legal requirements and above all, being a tireless advocate to achieve optimal outcomes for clients.

Having called South Bend, Indiana “home away from home” for the past 28 years, I possess a unique perspective and deep roots in the local community. This connection is further strengthened by my daughter being a recent graduate of St. Mary’s College, my son attending the University of Notre Dame basketball camp for 10 years, and my wife coordinating weddings at the renowned Basilica of the Sacred Heart on Notre Dame’s campus.

My consultative selling is an approach to sales that focuses on building a relationship with the customer and understanding their needs before recommending a solution, rather than simply pushing a product. My first-hand understanding of the area’s academic institutions, athletic programs, community fabric, and iconic venues like the Basilica.

Taking the time to deeply understand unique needs allows me to guide clients with wisdom gained through decades of professional experience developing solutions across diverse industries and organizations.

Combining proven expertise in strategically navigating complex processes with an unwavering commitment to developing relationships grounded in trust, I’m uniquely positioned to be an invaluable partner for South Bend area clients.

For 14 years I have been providing consulting, interim, employee relations, executive search, recruiting, sourcing and part-time human resource services to businesses of all sizes, including start-ups.

At AOL I held the second highest leadership position in human resources. My responsibility included 16,000 employees in the U.S Ireland, Philippines and India. I managed 98 HR employees domestically and internationally in a highly matrixed organization. I was responsible for total human resource support of my client groups including: talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, organizational development, training and payroll. During my tenure at AOL:
-Revenue grew from approximately $100 million – $9 billion
-Subscriber growth went from approximately 2 million – 35 million
-Employee growth from approximately 1,000 – 18,000 employees
